23-March-2018 :World Suicide Prevention Day(WSPD) has been included in the Government's public awareness programs list after an appeal made by me on behalf of Om Foundation . Before this only few NGOs were actively involved to organised WSPD in few districts, while most districts was not actively involved in the participation of WSPD, therefore after considering this fact I have appealed to the honourable Prime minister of India Mr Narendra Modi to include World Suicide Prevention Day in their governments program. I am happy to say that all 707 districts of the India will be actively involved on the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day by our Government. I am grateful to Government which has taken historical step for suicide prevention.This mission of Suicide Prevention became successful after long stepwise follow up .International Association for Suicide Prevention has also appreciated this achievement and congratulated our efforts.
